Hey again! This is me getting my journal caught up to my life as it's been an amazingly long time since my last real update here (December 2010)!

December 2010 thru early April 2011 I was spending time with my family & packing all my stuff up in preparation to move. No school & no job, how I miss it! Mid April 2011 I moved to Montana in the Toyota (I left the VW behind until I have a chance to move it to it's new home). I slept in the car along the way because I had to be thrifty, & because I really enjoy sleeping in painful positions. But having boxes stacked to the ceiling certainly hides you from view!

The plan was to move to Missoula, MT & go to truck driving school, but spring snow & ice on the second half of my drive had me wondering if I really wanted to move to the mountains in spring. One of the Toyota's belts went flying off 50 or so miles from Billings, MT & since I was going to be stuck in Billings for a few days that settled it for me- I decided to go to another branch of the same truck driving school I was considering, in Billings rather than Missoula. Before I found a place to stay, I was sleeping in my car- until the police woke me up one snowy night & threatened me with a ticket if I did it again, so after that I lost my nerve & went back to the local KOA Campground.

I couldn't afford any of the month-to-month apartments that were available, & I was only staying for two months so a lease was out of the question- so I rented a room in a stranger's house. The house turned out to be really nice, in a great location, with friendly owners who had two dogs & two cats (yay!). One of those cats was my BFF while I stayed there. I probably would've stolen it if there was any room at all in my car. ;)

Truck driving school was really fun, honestly. We got to drive three Kenworths & one elderly Freightliner known as "the Freightshaker". The instructors were really goofy & they had all these entertaining old videotapes for us to watch. On my days off I enjoyed my new home & got to thinking that I actually really like Billings. But once school was over I moved to Livingston, MT to be close to Yellowstone (plus it's really pretty here, & much smaller than Billings). I got by without an apartment until February of this year. Once again I started out living in my car and once again I was threatened with a ticket for using the National Forest as a 'residence'. They basically said I couldn't camp in the forest unless I could provide proof of residence elsewhere. Trust me when I say it sucks to be told you can't sleep in your car when you have no money for hotels! After a few paychecks I started staying in hotels during my time at home. When I couldn't stand having all my stuff in boxes anymore I got a comfortable apartment where I can look at the mountains out the windows. I really love it there!

For now, I only get 4 days at home a month & don't have internet there. I subscribed to the Pilot/Flying J truckstop internet, so when I stay at P/FJ truckstops that have wifi available I can use the internet. Because this is a "more than full time" job, I rarely have the combination of working internet & free time. So I'll do what I can here & on my website when I can but sadly I can't be the "me" you knew when I was getting my degree (back when I was commenting on everything & was usually caught up- I had loads of free time then). But I do have artwork to upload when the internet's fast enough. In other words, it could be awhile, but fanart from me still exists, believe it or not! :XD:

I still hope to find a way out of trucking and into doing art full time, and by that I mean I WILL find a way. Anyway- if you're still with me, thanks for listening! :thanks:

Here's the basic rundown on what's been going on with me:
The drive up to Yellowstone was stressful because I didn't know the VW had 50 quirks that don't appear until you take it on a lonnnng drive, so I worried it was going to die enroute. Plus I accidentally ruined one of my coolant hoses by setting it on a moving belt (YAY!).
At Yellowstone I got my RV site :D so I got to live in my van. The only bad thing was, RV'ers don't get free internet! How did I survive? I don't know!
In some ways it was a better season than 2009, though overall I thought 2009 was more memorable and fun. I did manage to do some damage to the van's electric hook-up cord & to the electrical box at my campsite (traumatizing when it happened). One other thing of note from this summer is I bought an inflatable kayak. At 11 feet long when inflated it still fits in my van! Just between you & me, it was an impulse buy.
As for getting home, I attempted to do a roadtrip where I didn't spend as much money as last time because I owe my dad a really big debt (for a bunch of automotive repairs & insurance bills). So I drove about 4,000 miles less than last fall, but at nearly half the mpg of last time, so I still spent a crapload of money on fuel. I can't pay off even half of my debt yet. D'oh! That makes me feel pretty crappy, but I did get to see some stuff I've always wanted to, i.e. the Colorado Rockies & the Ozarks. I had MUCH better tires this time, but I still had to be towed (I'm cursed) because I was stupid enough to drive on a thick sheet of ice on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. I felt the back of the van slip so I stopped, but couldn't get going again. A group of hunters towed me off the ice when they found out I was stuck. That made for kind of a fun memory & it certainly beat waiting for AAA!
And, because I fail, I managed to damage yet another thing on the van on my roadtrip home. Backing into a parking space, my muffler hit this concrete thing. It pushed the muffler forward without damaging it but tore the weld between the muffler & the exhaust pipe so that now my muffler is COMPLETELY detached from my exhaust. I can't afford to fix this for awhile so it's a good thing South Carolina doesn't have vehicle inspection laws! Visually it's not very noticeable & it sounds kinda cool (except when the engine is being quirky & the strange SFX are really obvious; then it just sounds like it's trying to die :fear:).

And THIS is the part where I stop myself from making this journal any longer. XD

This is going to be the shortest thing I'll ever write because I've got to leave today... I wish I wrote it a week ago when I actually had time, because as usual I have too much to say.

Anyway, I'm going to work in Yellowstone again, this time by myself, and in an older VW Camper instead of a car. More fun to live in, but more potential trouble on a long drive due to its age. So wish me luck, I think I really need it...

I'll try not to lose touch as I did last summer but the internet's a pain there... we'll just have to see. Anyway, gotta run. :spin:

Hey guys, I'm back home in South Carolina. I didn't get to Alaska; winter came early for Canada this year, and the road in some places was icy enough to be impassable- so I turned around and headed south after sliding on ice three times. There was one area where I ditched my car, and while I was waiting to be towed, 4 or 5 others ditched themselves on the same patch of road... how's that for ice?!

I slept in the driver's seat of my car every night except one, where I slept in a tent and really regretted it. I stayed at approx. ten campgrounds on the whole trip, so I only paid $81 for 'lodging'. The rest of the nights, I mastered the art of sleeping for free. It was REALLY satisfying, let me tell you.

Here is a very vague idea of the route: Yellowstone(start) - Grand Teton - Glacier NP - British Columbia - Alberta - Montana - Idaho - Utah - Colorado - New Mexico - Texas - Kansas - Nebraska - South Dakota - Wisconsin - Kentucky - North Carolina - South Carolina (home).

I stopped at National Monuments/Parks along the way (I purchased a Parks Pass for $80 that gets me into these until the end of next October). When my Toyota needed a new thermostat just outside of Taos, NM, can you believe the auto shop let me sleep in my car on their premises??? That was my second towing incident; man, I'm such a believer in AAA! And when I got to Milwaukee I stayed with RandomSpyder and got to see beatlesfan931 again, which was really, really nice. I would've stayed there longer but I wanted to make it home by Thanksgiving.

So, in short, I've had a crazy and amazing time. Trying to figure out what to do with myself next, asap...

Sorry I haven't been online all the time like I used to be. XD~ Looks like the next two months hold more of the same... I'll still try to comment occasionally 'cuz I miss the online buddies. And the general fanning over Goemon stuffs. I know what my next 3 deviations'll be... two are already started.

So, I've been working two jobs the past while, earning overtime and also mucho dinero in the magical mountain place while feeling miserable for lack of free time. I don't regret this summer at all, though! Now Canyon Lodge is closed until next summer, and I've done my part to help with closing... I'm free at last!

The only depressing thing now will be parting ways with my sister (my best friend for life). She'll be making her home in North Carolina, and me... I'll be taking the trusty steed (97 Corolla) on a roadtrip to explore Alaska and Canada, before winter sets in up there. These northern places are the stuff of my dreams (huge understatement there) and I'm really looking forward to this (another understatement).

Then I'll dip back into the lower 48 and spend some time in the western scenery that I already know I love, the deserts, the plains, and the Rockies. And ideally return home around the beginning of December, depending on how my budget holds out. I'll take advantage of free and cheap camping to help the budget... and stay at the occasional hotel. I'll get online when I can to keep in touch!

I'll miss Yellowstone (again)... you can hear the elk bugling every night lately and it's a surreal sound. And some small critter tried to make it's home in the trunk of my car, but I think I've thwarted it. :giggle: I'm kicked out of the employee dorms tommorrow but will probably camp in the area and utilize the employee wi-fi, showers, laundry and so forth for a couple days at the locations here that are still open.

I'm really thankful to be able to dodge boredom a little while longer! A decent paycheck is a godsend.

I've made it to Yellowstone. The trip was EPIC FUN and I loved long distance driving, especially on those 75 MPH stretches through Montana and North Dakota. The carpool lanes were sexy, too.

We couldn't sleep in the car after all since the interior was too full of our stuff. And once we drove till 1 am when we were falling behind schedule... Another time we were on a big empty highway with no service stations for miles with a "low gas" warning light, driving slowly with the air conditioning off. And in the end, we EACH ended up paying about $250 total for gas and lodging along the way... not bad for cross-country!!!

More epic win occurred when they provided a week's worth of NICE guest cabin lodging for me, for the price of one night... and I didn't even have to work during that time, because there was no work available for me at Mammoth Hot Springs (unlike last year)! I will miss that cabin. And I'm SO glad I didn't have to stay at the campground.

Since my sister is under 21 we're in the least awesome dorm... and I can't have alcohol in the room, despite being over 21. I don't drink that much, but still, it sucks, especially considering they ran out of room for under-21s in this dorm and started putting them in the dorms they wouldn't allow us into because my sis is a couple months from being 21... ugh, give me a break, people.

So now you know! And knowing is half the battle!

(I still have schoolwork to finish...)

I was really overdue a journal- started writing this one several times before now. But there's so much to say and I lack the motivation, so here's a relatively quick recap of the past two months, before I get to the really pressing things.

1. Spring Break we went down to Florida, visited the Kennedy Space Center and related complexes- we missed the latest shuttle launch by about a week. ;_;
2. Our other Florida destination was historic St. Augustine, complete with crappy hotel and a random lady falling off our trolley car and breaking... something.
3. Our septic system gets backed up, we get it emptied. A month later it backs up again- this time, we get a whole new system installed. It's really unpleasant not being able to use the plumbing when you live out by yourself, trust me. And our backyard has been thoroughly and predictably mutilated in the destruction/installation process.
4. The barn roof is slowly trying to fall in on everything we have stored back there.
5. I get to feel jealous of all my peers who I was supposed to graduate with, because I made too many mistakes going through college and now have a summer class and a semester full of classes still ahead of me. And I'm really sick of living at home- my mom's annoying the hell out of me and dad stresses me out like nobody's business.
6. A field mouse had babies in the corner of my room, and somehow they all exited without me knowing.
7. Driving home one evening and it's getting dark outside- and we discover that our car is blocked from reaching our house ON BOTH SIDES by downed trees across the road. WTH?
8. And speaking of whut thuh 'ell, dad almost gets hit by a lightning bolt that came out of nowhere. I don't think I've ever been so close to lightning myself, because that sucker was LOUD. And there was no thunder to precede it!

Now for the pressing things.
My laptop and Random's nearly identical one both pull a critical fail during the same week, making me wonder if Dell sets a timer in these things so they'll fail after a certain amount of use. My hard drive is trying to die. It scared me that I'd lost several months of unbacked-up files. Thanks to Random's sexy computer skills we booted it with Linux and discovered I had zilch files, and declared the HD dead. A little later I got the HD to spin up again and backed up all my recent files on CD-R.
So anyway, I've got to send it back to Dell (and my warranty is close to running out- jeez! I'm glad this didn't happen two months from now!), and aside from the HD, I need them to reattach a key to my keyboard (I'm so lame/lazy), and do something about my RAM issue. I figured out that it wasn't one of my RAM cards that's the problem, but one of the two slots that holds the RAM. Aw, crap. I have a hard time trusting tech support so I hope they can show some sign of competence and fix such a seemingly invasive problem. The only good thing about all this is it means I'll get a fresh install of Win XP (I really need one). And I'm really holding my breath that my unremovable, OS-crashin' virus of doom DIES on the old hard drive. I might strangle someone if I accidentally transfer it. Jeez this is taking a while to type up...

And now, the following things make me want to hide under a rock:

1. I'm leaving on Friday, and before then, I have a class to sign up for, schoolwork to complete, stuff to buy, stuff to pack... I'll be gone for months so I'd better not forget anything.
2. I'll be on the road for approximately 4-6 days, I doubt I'll be able to use the internet at all, since my primary computer will be my desktop (they'll have to ship my repaired laptop up to Montana ;_; ).
3. The aforementioned roadtrip is my first cross-country trip with ME at the wheel, and I'm frickin scared, since my longest drive before now was only a few hours. We can't afford to stay in hotels the whole way either. And we have a time limit. I wonder how difficult it is to find non-creepy (and legal) places to park and sleep. ^^;
4. Once we get there, I'll be Random's chauffeur (LOL) as she goes thru the check-in process for her job at Yellowstone NP. The check-in for my job there is about a week and a half later.
5. If it's like last year (we worked there last year, too), Random will stay in either a cabin or in employee housing for that week and a half before I start work. She'll be training.
6. But me, I'll be at the guest campground. I'll sleep either in our car or my tent. I damn well hope the car is comfortable to sleep in, because:
A. Mammoth Hot Springs gets really cold at night during this time of year. We ran the heat in the cabin we stayed at last year all morning to warm it up, so I have to imagine the cold factor of sleeping in a car or a tent.
B. Last year it snowed while we were in the cabin. My tent isn't built to handle snow.
C. One of the attractions of staying at Mammoth is that you have mega huge buffalo and elk roaming through the same areas that all the guests roam through, more so than in some areas of the park. If I'm in the tent by myself and a buffalo cozies up to it, I might spontaneously combust from terror, because they aren't predictable animals, they do kill people, and a tent really offers no protection.

7. Staying at a campground also equates to no electricity and no wi-fi, so I'm looking at possibly 2 1/2  weeks total where I can't get in contact with you awesome online people.

So maybe I just sound like a wuss but I'm feeling really overwhelmed right now for these reasons...  I'm really looking forward to being back in Yellowstone, but these are some high hurdles in the meantime...

Sorry I'm such a whining whiner right now- give me a month and I'll be doing great. What a month, though. And sorry I can't write short journals like a normal person, this one's even particularly bad, but I had to purge that stuff.

And one more thing- one of my very good online friends is going to be my CO-WORKER up in Yellowstone. EPIC WEIRD. Yeah, life is pretty crazy right now, is it not? :eyes:

First, starting tommorrow (2/28/09) I will be on Spring Break, and will probably not have any internet access until Friday. I wanted to point this out so that those who don't know won't feel ignored by me. I'm off to Florida for the first time in ages... :D

I figured out the problem with my camera- the memory card wasn't securely in place... oof. The stupidity BURNS. :giggle:

Wow... I know I have more to say than that. My short-term memory's dead at the moment since I didn't get adequate sleep or nutrition during the past week. THAT'S MY EXCUSE AND I'M STICKING TO IT. ;P

And now, for reading or skipping entirely, I have yet again stolen a survey thing from beatlesfan931.
It's essentially: "...25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you." It's vague, so this is going to be very random, filled with lots of not really important things. And bear in mind I might delete these later so the journal takes up less space.

1. In 6th grade, I invented a wannabe Pokemon game called "Animal War". It was played with paper info sheets for the monsters & dice, and people actually thought it was fun.:O

2. My favorite search engine when I first started using the internet was Metacrawler. I'm not sure why...

3. I have New Mexico vacation guides from 1993, 2001, and 2006.

4. One morning I woke up and there was a bird in my room.

5. One night there was a snake in the doorway of my room.

6. I've driven four vehicles: 2 cars, 1 truck, 1 camper van.

7. I made an Itakaro armband thing... out of part of a sock. FAIL FAIL FAIL

8. It gets so hot upstairs in our house during the summer, plastic things sometimes get stuck to each other, and a wax sculpture I have melted...

9. Two-thirds of the floorspace in my room is covered with junk I need to put away.

10. There's a non-functional fireplace in my room. Little bits of concrete and dirt occasionally fall down and give me a mess to periodically clean up.

11. I have four car model kits, only one of which is vaguely near completion.

12. I used to read manga all the time... and now probably read them at the rate of maybe one a year.

13. My fave newspaper comics are 'Rose is Rose' and 'Calvin & Hobbes'.

14. The doornob on the inside of my closet likes to fall off every now and then, landing loudly.

15. The first series I ever otaku'd over was Star Trek. It still makes me giddy. Most recent Star Trek series ("Enterprise") NOT INCLUDED.

16. Lurked the dA chat rooms for the first time ever yesterday. I didn't leave with a good impression of the place...

17. My crappy film camera still has a roll of film in it that I shot part of in 2002...

I'm getting up collossally early tommorrow morning so I've got to leave this here for now and get to sleep. =) Maybe I'll finish the 25 later, I dunno. This feels like a very incomplete journal but I didn't have a lot of time for it today. :D

Had to write since I'm way too excited about this-!

A former student at my uni was advertising it through flyers and the graphic design professor was advertising it in his classes as well (I've got him for two classes this semester- that's a VERY good thing). There's nothing wrong with it, the seller just wanted to switch to a laptop and needed the moolah for that (that's the theory anyway, she seems trustworthy enough).

'Twas $400 for the following:

Apple Mac Mini (2005)
HP 15" Monitor
Kensington USB Keyboard
Adobe Creative Suite 2 (included CD)/ Adobe Creative Suite 3 installed (in effect, I've finally got full Photoshop and Illustrator, holy crap! I'll die happy now)

Specs for teh Mini:

-G4 with PowerPC processor
-1.5 ghz
-upgraded to 1 GB RAM
-80 GB hard drive
-2 USB ports (plus 2 on the keyboard, THANKFULLY!)
-Firewire 400 port
-Airport Extreme wireless
-BlueTooth 2.0
-MacOSX 10.4.11

Macs have been haunting my dreams for awhile now, so I'm ecstatic. This wonderful little computer is both pretty and takes up very little space. It doesn't have as much space (for backing up the files on my laptop) as the external hard drive that I was considering, but it fulfills many of my current needs in one swoop (Creative Suite, file backup, Mac, a computer to use so that I'm not stuck if the laptop fails, taking some usage hours off of my laptop, and now I can go do homework for my computer classes at home rather than in class- far more comfortable).

Many of it's specs are the same as on my laptop, causing me to love it even more. Aaaaand, I've already figured out how to type in Japanese on the thing, and it's super simple to switch back to the English keyboard (just one click). Wow, I could've used that sooner, but that's SO handy! X3

The mouse situation isn't perfect, it didn't come with one, and the usb mouse I have didn't always work when I used to use it, and currently needs batteries before I can try it again. So I have my graphics tablet hooked up (I can swap between the pen and the mouse on that thing), but that makes for very slow scrolling to get from one place to the other on the screen. I think I need to adjust the settings to get it to work as well as it does with my laptop, but that would require installing the drivers (too lazy for that at the moment, and the last time I tried to install the drivers for it on a Mac, it didn't read the CD, which isn't encouraging).

The more I use the keyboard, the more I like it, though the delete key could be a little less stiff. Not a big deal, though. It's a good-looking keyboard with transparent plastic.

I thought I didn't really like the monitor when I first used it (this is my second day with the computer, so I've had a chance to explore it a bit), but now it's pretty decent. I just went in and changed the settings until I liked it (really, I'm suprised the seller didn't do that beforehand, it makes such a big difference to the picture quality). It doesn't take up much space on my desk, either.

Last but not least, my desk was so covered with crap that I couldn't use it before now, but I had to clean it of everything so that I could dust it for the wellbeing of the new toy. All I have to do is move the keyboard to one side (quick n' easy) and I have a desk space again. XD It's a nice bonus.

Wow, that was a long-winded journal, sorry! :giggle:

First, my apologies, I'm not usually so grumpy. I'll understand completely if you want to skip this altogether.

So... I must've offended someone important out there, because:

1. My desk lamp suddenly decided to get difficult to turn on and off, and I fear it's going to get stuck completely and no longer work.
2. My digital camera, which used to hold several hundred photos, suddenly will only hold about ten.
3. My TV has died just in time for Christmas. I don't want to shell out for a new one, but I have to. Also, I really liked this TV, and it showed no sign that it was going to give out! Rarrrrgh...
4. The electrical socket the aforementioned TV was plugged into is now being problematic, in that it will run low power devices (digital clock, surge protector, etc.) but not high power devices (computer, etc.). Leaving me to wonder if this socket was what killed my TV. My mom's very new laptop has recently failed to turn on at all, making me feel very creepy about the electrical system in our house. For those who don't know, it's an 1830's house which was a fixer-upper to begin with, and we've already had to replace at least 3 electrical sockets due to problems since we've been here. Another socket in my room doesn't work at all, but it never has.

That's right, I just realized what day it was, less than an hour ago!

Soooo.... I'm going to try something new here. Basically, I'm going to attempt an art request. If you'd like it to be your idea I'm drawing, all you have to do is-
:star:Be the first person to comment on this journal. You don't even have to come up with your idea right away!
:star:Tell me your idea in a note, so it's a secret until I post the result.

斬:::A few guidelines:::斬
:iconhatarino-icon:It'll be a comic with no less than 4 panels.
:iconnyanko-icon:I reserve the right to veto your idea and make you come up with something else, if I'm not comfortable with it.
:iconitakaro-icon:Goemon characters only, and no OCs.
:iconrokudenashi-icon:Make sure you're comfortable with me posting your idea on DA, and with me saying it was your idea.
:iconhatarino-icon:You get ONE sentence to describe your idea, that way there's plenty of room for my own creativity.
:iconnyanko-icon: I'm not drawing anything serious, make sure your idea is funny or can be adaptable to being funny.
:iconitakaro-icon:I'm always busy, and I may be doing one more minor art thing before this, so don't expect a quick turn-around.
*whew* This could get interesting!
  • Listening to: GG4 soundtrack (yes I know I have no life!)
  • Reading: Yeah, I should!
  • Watching: Scrubs :D
  • Playing: Glitchy GG4 (noooooooo stop that, you!)
  • Eating: Trans fat, saturated fat, and sugar
:iconitakaro-icon::iconrokudenashi-icon::iconhatarino-icon::iconnyanko-icon::iconitakaro-icon::iconrokudenashi-icon::iconhatarino-icon::iconnyanko-icon:

Well, I stole this idea from beatlesfan931:
First, put your mp3 player or whatever on random. Thenn post the first line from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. Then have everyone guess what song and artist the lyrics come from. NO USING SEARCH ENGINES! It has to come from your own personal experience.

So here's my list, though I had to omit a suprising amount of stuff:
A. When I couldn't tell half of what they were saying
B. Songs that didn't start from the beginning (that I copied off tapes I made off the radio)
C. Sound clips of people chattering at each other (all Japanese but one!)
D. Foreign-language music
E. Music with no lyrics

No guarantees that I heard everything right! And some are incomplete or have an extra line, deal with it! XD And the funny thing is, alot of these I wouldn't recognize myself just from the first lyric, if I hadn't just barely listened to them.
And some of these ARE pretty embarrassing. :w00t:

1. Ali dances and the audience applauds, though he's bathed in sweat he hasn't lost his style.
2. Rainy day people always seem to know when it's time to go,
rainy day people don't talk they just listen till they've heard
it all.
3. There is nothing you can do that I have not already done to
myself.
4. If you change your mind on the first in line, honey I'm
still free, take a chance on me.
5. You're so hot, teasin' me, so you're blue but I can't
take a chance on a chick like you.
6. Dim all the lights sweet darling, cause tonight it's all the
way.
7. Too big to fly, dodo ugly so dodo must die.
8. Please don't say 'I love you', those words touch me much
too deeply.
9. I came upon a child of god, he was walking along the road,
and I asked him, where are you going, and this he told me.
10. You used to be my party doll, but now you say, the party's
over.
11. One cross to bear, money to be spent, there were three
standing there, one accident.
12. In the early morning rain, with a dollar in my hand, with
an aching in my heart, and my pockets full of sand.
13. Arise, arise, you pretty fair maids, and take your May-bush
in, for if it is gone, before tommorrow morn, you would say we
have brought you none.
14. The priest sat in the airport bar, he was wearing his
father's tie, and his eyes looked into my eyes so far whenever
the words ran dry.
15. I believe in love, it's all we got- love has no boundaries,
gots nothing to touch.
16. Well I'm on the downeaster Alexa, and I'm cruisin through
Block Island Sound, I have charted a course for the vineyard,
but tonight I am Nantucket bound.
17. In all that I do, in all that I say, I used to have a dream
that love didn't have to be this way.
18. If the truth be known, it's all a clever disguise, on this
mighty throne, sits a king who slowly dies.
19. I took off for a weekend last month just to try and recall
the whole year, all of the faces and all of the places,
wonderin' where they all disappeared.
20. She waits for me at night, she waits for me in silence, she
gives me all her tenderness, and takes away my pain.
21. Hey man. Aw, leave me alone, you know. Hey man. Oh Henry
get off the phone I got to...
22. As the son of a son of a sailor, I went out on the sea for
adventure.
23. Every night in my dreams, I see you, I feel you- that is
how I know you go on.
24. She's got a way about her, don't know what it is, but I
know that I can't live without her.
25. Talk to me, you never talk to me, ooh it seems that I can
speak, well I can hear my voice shouting out, but there's no
reply at all.
26. Up the misty mountain, wildflowers bind the ground, down by
the rushing river, force will weigh those boulders down.
27. Rock, robot rock. Rock, robot rock.
28. Take my hand, look into my eyes, tell me what you see,
because the eyes never lie.
29. It's like you can't give up but you can't go on, all you
can do is just sing along, but there's someone else in your
memory, and there's someone here, in front of me, and I'm
sitting down an American dream and then I turn on the light,
everyone's wearing your eyes.
30. It was the theme she had on a scheme he had, told in a
foreign land, to take life from...

Yeah. ^^; Some of you already know this, but I'm back home in upstate South Carolina. It's hot here but at least I missed the worst part of summer. Um... I promise I will finish Bouken Yae sometime soon. Really!!! Otherwise, RandomSpyder will dislocate my shoulder.
I put on some weight when I was in Yellowstone. How did that happen?!?! I was more active than I've ever been. I'm going to blame it on all the peanut butter and ice cream. I don't regret any of it! :evillaugh:  If I randomly disappear and never return to DA, it's because I had a heart attack.
I have two 10-11 hour days at school this semester. TWO. But Fridays I have only one hour of class.
Why does half the cool Goemon merchandise floating around online have to be purchaseable with something other than dollars? There are ways around that, but not for lazy people like me. I still have a bunch of pounds (currency) from my semester in England. I should have cashed them while still abroad, because it's not enough to exchange at the bank. It sucks to convert dollars to pounds these days, it'll make you feel poor. England is expensive but worth it if you can go.

First- There's a possibility I'll be offline for a week or two very soon here, due to returning home for the fall, and not being able to use wi-fi on  my laptop until I return to school.

Second- Bouken-style Yae is my next deviation, she's possibly 95% complete. If I can I'll finish her before the bus trip. Now, I'm really curious as to who/what you think I should draw next? Ganbare Goemon themed, of course. I'm just really wanting suggestions... anything at all would be so appreciated!!!
